Rules for using the service
Terms and Conditions
These terms govern access to RoadsideStore's website, Android application and public commerce services. By registering or using the service, you agree to them.
Effective and last updated: 1 August 2026
1. Platform role
RoadsideStore provides technology for discovering stores and products, communicating, billing, ordering, delivery coordination and store operations. Unless RoadsideStore is expressly identified as the seller, products and services are offered by independent vendors. The vendor is responsible for product quality, legality, descriptions, prices, taxes, availability, fulfilment, warranties, returns and refunds.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be legally capable of entering an agreement and provide accurate, current information.
- Keep passwords, OTPs and devices secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless promptly reported as unauthorized.
- Vendor and staff roles must be used only for the store that authorized them. Store owners are responsible for permissions granted to employees.
- RoadsideStore may request identity, store or business verification before enabling restricted features or higher limits.
3. Listings, orders and availability
Search distance, live location, stock, shop status, product images, delivery estimates and prices may change. An order request is not accepted until the vendor confirms it. A vendor may reject or cancel an order when an item is unavailable, information is incorrect, delivery is impractical or fraud is suspected. Customers must provide accurate delivery and contact details and be available to receive an accepted order.
4. Vendor obligations
- List only lawful, genuine and safe products or services and maintain accurate prices, GST/HSN information, stock, expiry dates and descriptions.
- Do not sell prohibited, counterfeit, recalled, expired, unsafe or improperly licensed items.
- Comply with applicable tax, invoice, consumer, food, weights and measures, licensing, privacy, employment and local business requirements.
- Display required seller, grievance, return, warranty and product information and respond reasonably to customer issues.
- Use store, product and identity photos only when authorized and do not infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Mark orders, payments and deliveries accurately. Vendor UPI payments go to the UPI account supplied by the vendor; the vendor must verify receipt before marking an order paid.
5. Plans, fees and payments
A free vendor plan may be offered without payment. Paid plans, product limits, billing limits and benefits are shown before purchase and may change for future billing periods. Taxes may apply. Where automatic renewal is offered, the renewal terms will be disclosed before authorization. Direct customer-to-vendor payments are between those parties unless the payment screen expressly identifies RoadsideStore as collecting the funds. Refund treatment is explained in the Refund Policy.
6. Billing, reports and business records
Billing, stock, purchase, expense, GST and performance tools assist store operations but do not replace professional accounting, tax or legal advice. Vendors must verify invoices, tax rates, reports and imported bank-statement classifications before relying on them or filing returns.
7. Maps, routes and live tracking
Locations, routes, distance and estimated movement are informational and may be delayed or inaccurate. Users must follow road rules, safe routes and official restrictions. Never rely on the app for emergency or safety-critical navigation.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, impersonate others, harass users, scrape or resell data, upload malware, manipulate ratings or transactions, bypass plan or security limits, reverse engineer protected components, submit false KYC, or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or harmful activity.
9. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant RoadsideStore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce, resize and display that content only as needed to operate, secure and promote the relevant listing or service. You confirm you have the right to provide it. We may remove content that violates these terms or law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or suspend an account or listing for security risk, non-payment, false information, prohibited products, repeated complaints, legal requirements or material breach. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to correct the issue.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, RoadsideStore does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, a particular sales result, store availability, user conduct or third-party goods and services. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, RoadsideStore is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from independent vendors, customers, delivery participants, connectivity, third-party services or inaccurate user-supplied information.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before starting formal proceedings, contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the concern. Applicable consumer rights and legally required jurisdiction are not limited by this clause.
13. Changes
We may update these terms for feature, security, operational or legal changes. Material changes will be notified through the website, app or registered contact details. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance, except where law requires additional consent.
