Privacy Policy

This policy explains how RoadsideStore handles information when shoppers, vendors, employees and delivery participants use our website, Android application and related services.

Effective and last updated: 1 August 2026

Quick navigation

1. Scope

This policy applies to RoadsideStore's public shopping, store management, billing, ordering, delivery, messaging and website services. It does not describe third-party services that have their own privacy policies.

2. Information we collect

3. How we use information

We process information for the service you request, with consent where required, for legitimate service and security needs, and to comply with law.

4. When information is shared

RoadsideStore does not sell personal information for money.

5. Location and background activity

Nearby shops can be loaded from a location you choose or your device location. Moving-vendor and active-delivery features may update location while that activity is running. You may disable location permission in device settings, but location-dependent features may stop working. Saved locations remain available until replaced, deleted or the account is removed, subject to retention requirements.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain billing and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. We use access controls, encrypted transport, secure session storage and operational safeguards, but no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, withdraw consent, update permissions, or raise a grievance. Some financial, invoice, security or legal records may need to be retained. You may turn off notifications or location access through device settings, and can update profile or store information in the app.

8. Children

RoadsideStore is not intended for children to independently operate commercial accounts. A parent or lawful guardian must provide any consent required by law. Please contact us if you believe a child's information was provided improperly.

9. Policy changes

We may update this policy when features, practices or laws change. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes may also be communicated in the app or website.

10. Contact and grievance requests

Email support@roadsidestore.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. Include the email or mobile number connected to your account and enough detail for us to identify and address the request. Do not send passwords, OTPs or full identity-document numbers by email.
